Remember National Day of Prayer

If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
~ 2 Chronicles 7:14

Hear Us From Heaven
Lord hear our cry
Come heal our land
Breathe life into these dry and thirsty souls

Lord hear our prayer
Forgive our sin
And as we call on Your name
Would You make this a place for Your glory to dwell

Open the blind eyes
Unlock the deaf ears
Come to Your people
As we draw near

Hear us from Heaven
Touch our generation
We are Your people
Crying out in desperation

Hear us from Heaven
Hear us from Heaven
Hear us from Heaven

First of all, thanks for the reminder!

Secondly, I love Ravi! He's one of my favorite all time writers and speakers.

Thirdly, what he had to say about Nehemiah resonated with me. I wrote an entire Bible study on the book of Nehemiah.

Lastly, I love our nation and the fact that we still have the religious freedoms to express our love for our great big God.

Prayer matters, and I will take a closer look at my prayers this day for our world...at large and at home.

Tracy,
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. God has richly blessed me through this and He indeed has used YOU today to do it. This is the second encouraging comment I've received today. I love to write as many people do but that doesn't necessarily mean I know how. I've struggled with this but God is confirming through SO many others that I'm in His Will with this blog and I am indeed talented. That's a big thing for me to acknowledge and realize my own talent. It shows God's power working in me.

I'm so glad you will be back to read past posts. Make sure you read my very first one to show how this blog got started. I want Him to have the credit He is due.

Feel free to comment on any past posts that speak to you.

I've marked your blog as a favorite also.
Holding Him,
Paula
