Word-Filled Wednesday

Provided by: heartlight.org

This photo and verse really spoke to me. Being an encourager and receiving encouragement from others is so very important. Blogging provides such a perfect atmosphere for this exchange. The encouragement God has provided to me through so many of you is innumerable! Sometimes I'm encouraged by reading about the difficult journeys some of you find yourself on, because it puts my own trials in perspective. I'm also encouraged when I see you rally around someone who is hurting to offer prayer and words of affirmation. I've been encouraged to read sweet stories about your precious families, and insights from your time with the Lord, or shared scripture every Wednesday. ; ) Most recently, I've been encouraged by what you're sharing from "She Speaks." You've given those of us who weren't there a chance to share in your blessings. All this is to say nothing of the encouragement that I myself have received from you directly through your comments! You've challenged me to be more of an encourager in ALL my relationships and I thank you. I'm praising God for all of YOU this morning!

Tracy, I'm with you one hundred percent. We all need that encouragement. I'm doing a Beth Moore study right now and she says on the DVDs, more than once, "Life is hard." And it's true. God knew we'd need someone to pray for us and lift us up. Thanks for sharing this. You've blessed me.

Yikes! I was a bit upset with my dear hubby this morning. Thanks for the reminder that I need to be the one to build him up and bless him this day. I forgot for one wee moment that next to Jesus I am to be his biggest fan and cheerleader. Thanks for sharing, I needed to read it today.

Tracy,

Just saw on the news about the shooting at a plant in Henderson, KY. I wanted to make sure all is okay with you and your family. I don't know how far Henderson is from you...

I, too, am in agreement with you, Tracy. I have been encouraged so much by others and by YOU. God is so good to have led me to your blogs. I love the verse and picture of the hands...it's a perfect match. Happy WFW!

Tracy,
I share your heart today. WOW... well said! And the picture.... reminds me of when I was a little girl on a ball team and we'd have time out and then all stack our hands ontop of eachother and say our short victory chant. Unity! You lift me up too Tracy... you are a real blessing and inspiration.
God bless YOU.

What a precious post! Encouragement is so very important, and all too often we do not take the time to encourage those God places in our lives. Thank you for your encouragement today, have a wonderful day!

Tracy,

Thanks for checking on me (our family). Some doctors in the field of brain cancer, don't pursue "inconclusive" MRIs. Thankful Jan's does.

Also, BTW I didn't hear until later yesterday the news of a murder just a few blocks from me. It was drug related and they knew each other. A little unsettling. Even living in good neighborhoods you never know what will happen! Crazy!

Have a great day!

Thanks for all of your encouragement to me. You feed my need with your many words of support, and I always feel lifted up after reading your thoughts.

This weekend was truly a huge dose of encouragement for me. I am forever changed by the foot washing I received from everyone! Next year...Come along for the journey. There's something for everyone.

Great post, Tracy, we need to acknowledge that blogging has a good side to it, it isn't just a waste of time or a way to stroke our egos. We build up each other and comfort each other; and strengthen and encourage each other. Thanks for your words on any day of the week.

This is one of my favorite things in life. Encouragement. Both to give and receive.

Thanks for your encouragement this week.

I'd love to read about She Speaks. Not sure who's blog to read. With my work, I haven't been able to keep up with reading my favorites lately.

Love this post. When I first started my blog it really was just another way to journal. But the encouragement I have received and the prayers on my behalf - amazing! I am so glad that God led me to this blog-land.

By the way, I love your template, it looks very familiar.....
