Prayer Request for my Dad, Clyde

Could you take a moment to lift a prayer for my Dad? He's a carpenter and while working yesterday, fell from a scaffold onto the homeowner's driveway. He broke his heels…one in two places, the other is shattered. Both will require surgery. He was admitted to a local hospital where they now have his pain under control, but he has major swelling. Apparently, they cannot operate until it's gone down somewhat. (They're saying it could be 5 days before that happens.) We've been told recovery from the surgery will be rather lengthy.

There are lots of questions and concerns looming ahead (Dad is self-employed, won't be able to drive or work for quite some time, Mom doesn't drive and isn't in the best of health, Dad already tends toward depression, etc.) but we know and believe God is in control. This is all part of His plan. There is truly a measure of comfort in that! We are also grateful his injuries are not more severe...he could have broken his legs, his back, his neck or even worse.
We are of course bringing his case to the Great Physician and trusting Him for the best possible outcome. I would be most grateful if you would, too. Thank you.

I just prayed and will continue to do so as I think of it throughout my day. My cousin fell this past fall off his parent's roof helping them out and shattered not only his feet and ankles but also his leg in several places. God is healing him and he could have been worse to. I know God will work in your family through this situation.

Tracy,
I'm SO very sorry to hear about your father, and the impact this will have on him, and your mom, as well as you and your family.

Father, in Jesus name I pray that your peace, and your comfort will flood the the lives and Tracy and her entire family. Jesus, NOTHING, catches you by surprise, and we know that even in what seems like our darkest hours..you ARE there...in the midst.

Praying that you will restore health and healing to Tracy's dad; and provide comfort to both he and his wife.

Father, help Tracy, to grip the hem of your garment..a little tighter today...as she walks this road with her parents.

And, I pray an EXTRA special blessing on sweet Tracy. Give her your wisdom, your understanding, your love, and your patience...as she ministers to her family.

I LOVE ya Tracy, and I'll be gripping the hem of his garment a little tighter...on your behalf!

I saw your title and came straight over. I have already started praying.

A friend's daughter did the same thing last week except that she fell over her balcony from the 2nd story.

Will keep your dad in prayer.
Much love to you Tracy!

may he beat all expectations and recover quickly with very little pain...
Lord, your arm is NOT too short...
help them through this struggle and in your name we claim the evil one to flee and for depression not to raise its head during this recovery.
Amen
