Blessings Tracy...I'm OVERFLOWING with thankfulness!!! What a good photo to depict being "rooted" & may we find strength in our Faith we were taught & built up in Him! Great verse from Colossians!!! I wonder if Laurie from Women Taking A Stand will visit you because she's doing a Weds. study in Col.? Glad to see you around & enjoying your photography!
What a timely reminder! I'm trying to remember to be thankful during this season, too, and praying that I am faithful in giving thanks to God after the season is over.
strong roots become even more important in a drought. Had to have a tree that was still growing strong taken out and the roots were firm and strong also. No comment on the silly council who are putting an unnecessary footpath in!
This is BEAUTIFUL! So nicely done, Tracy! The verse is precious to me. An admonishment to have my roots well tended and running deep in Him.

Such an appropriate photo. In late August our backyard is "OVERFLOWING" with greenery too. What a lovely word-picture of how our lives in Christ should overflow with thankfulness...and grace... and kindness... and longsuffering... and gentleness... WHAT a poinant reminder. ...And to think that all the backyard beauty began with a seed. So our lives begin with the Seed of God's Word in our lives! Awesome! THANKS and Happy WFW!
To overflow with thankfulness! I am thankful to God for His Presence in my life, all the time, but especially during the hard and difficult times as I have experienced this past week.
Happily married for 25 years to a wonderful man and my very best friend, Mom to a great son & dear "daughter-in-love" who serve the Lord with great passion and who challenge me to do the same. Having been blessed far greater than I could ask or imagine, it is my prayer that my life reflects the overflow of an ever-grateful heart.
