Word-Filled Wednesday

For more Word-Filled Wednesday,
please visit us at the
160 Acre Woods

I hope today finds you well, and prayerful for our President-elect. Scripture tells us we are to pray for our leaders (regardless of whether or not we personally agree with their views), as well as our nation as a whole. This is indeed a long-awaited moment in history for many of our brothers and sisters in Christ, and in that, I rejoice. May I suggest more than ever before, we commit to daily prayer for our President and our nation, whether individually, or through organizations like the Presidential Prayer Team. And may we do so with full and complete trust in He who is in control of all things.

What a comforting verse! And you are so right about committing to DAILY PRAYER for the President -- both the "lame duck" one and the president elect!

Your post inspired me. Although I will pray as an individual for Senator Obama and for our country, I joined the Presidential Prayer Team's 77 Days until inauguration project. Thanks for posting.

Blessings sweet Tracy...what a beautiful photo & Psalm for this time! I love photos of leaves!
Thank you for sharing about HIS protection of His Faithful Ones!

I so enjoyed your personal words!

But the biggest blessing (though a little late) was the Presidential Prayer Team link. I had never seen that and so enjoyed how each section lifted Bush in prayer & how to's. Thank you for the reminder to uplift those in government just as you thanked me for the persecuted.
I do...but never knew of this site!
I pray our country will never suffer persecution like others. We would not know how to stand & endure. Look what we have done or are doing with issues now! This was great! I can't believe I missed this!

Well, not as much as I'll miss you!
I totally understand about not being able to visit as much. Will you keep posting? WFWs? Just don't loose touch-hope you still have my email!!! I'm still enjoying Point of Grace! Thanks & bless you for your visit & words of support!

Thanks for your prayers! They are not new steps yet but returning to old ministries & needs here! Blessings! Big hug...to keep you a while...Peggy
