Word-Filled Wednesday

I was so excited when I found this scripture! It so beautifully describes what I've experienced since my surgery. In all honesty, I've been overwhelmed. I have the most wonderful family and friends! The e-mails, cards, flowers, gifts, food, visits (both in person and on the blog) have been such sweet and encouraging medicine, for not just my body but also my soul. If that wasn't enough, my dear hubby has taken extra time off work so that he can stay home to look after me, and spend time with me. I am incredibly blessed and my heart is truly thankful. I found it particularly meaningful that this verse relates kindness to honey. Besides the many wonderful health benefits of this amazing nectar, the taste is one of my absolute favorites...pure SWEETNESS.

Another benefit to this "down time," has been extra time with the Lord, both in prayer and in the Word. That too has been especially precious. I couldn't say it any better than the words of Psalm 119:103

How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth.

First of all, thank you for adding a photo of "you" on the blog. Since it is such a pretty picture I cannot figure out why you waited so long to include it. Secondly, I really like associating God's Word to honey and the honeycomb. Both add joy and blessing in my daily life. So thankful that you are feeling better. I enjoy all of my visits to your blog.

So many people had had sweet words that have blessed my life. And of course, His Word. I don't know what you've had but am glad you are doing well.

God Bless you today.

What a SWEET message Sweetie!

You are so beautiful! Your eyes and smile house the presence of the LORD!

May God's favor rest upon your husband for loving on you as a loving husband would (I have one of those terrific Christ-centered men also and it's a blessing).

Continue to bask in the presence of the Lord as you heal and from then on..

Bless you. Love ya.

Your one-word-answer meme was really good, too. Enjoyed reading it.

Hi, Tracy! How cool we picked the same verse. This was a new one to me, too. I heard it first at a women's meeting at church a few weeks ago. The topic was on the words that we say and how they affect others. Powerful topic!

Happy WFW!

Lovely and also lovely to recall that honey has healing properties.
There is one called Manuka from New Zealand that is said to be especially good but I supsect a google search on the healing effects of honey would be interesting.
Healing hugs.
