Well Done Good and Faithful Servant...

A sweet reunion is taking place in Heaven tonight. My Grandpa, Walter Hubbs passed away late this afternoon, just 10 days shy of his 94th birthday. No doubt all of Heaven, particularly my Grandma, his sweet bride of 68 years, is rejoicing! It thrills my heart to imagine them worshipping together at the feet of our Lord. You may remember, I shared their story last year.

Since Grandma passed away in 2004, several of my Aunts and Uncles have taken in and cared for Grandpa. Most recently and for the longest, he's been with my Aunt Brenda and Uncle Zollie in Georgia. They have been such incredible caretakers during the most difficult stage of his illness. I am humbled and thank God for their sacrificial love & compassion.

Tracy, I pray for sweet comfort for you and your family from the Lord at this time in having to temporarily say goodbye to your precious Grandpa. My Grandpa went to the Lord October of 2007 and Grandma April 1990. They too have had a sweet reunion with each other and at the feet of the LORD in worship so I'm so glad for your Grandparents and for my own although my heart and yours I'm sure, misses them for now...

God bless you and your family and may special favor fall upon Aunt Brend and Uncle Zollie for their special care of your Grandpa.

Blessings.

Big hugs to you today! I remember when my grandpa died back in 1982. I still miss him horribly. But what sweet memories I have of him and it sounds like your grandpa is one of those sweet types, too! :) Praying for you~

May His open arms carry you through missing your grandpa & grieving your loss but heaven's gain with the JOY that you will one day share with all your loved ones in this we have our great HOPE! May His peace surround you in the days ahead and on his upcoming birthday but their is nothing like the celebration he now has in his new birth & home. May Our Lord gurad your sweet heart and be with all in your family. The story that you shared before with this makes a
